Testate Probate Administration
When a loved one passes away with a valid will, we guide the named personal representative through testate probate administration from start to finish. The court oversees the process, but the will generally governs who is in charge, who inherits, and how the estate should be handled, subject to the requirements of state law.
Our role includes assisting with admission of the will to probate, appointment of the personal representative, and notification of beneficiaries and known creditors. We help identify, collect, and value estate assets; address legitimate debts and expenses; and ensure that specific bequests, residuary gifts, and any special instructions in the will are carried out as intended. Throughout the administration, we provide clear guidance on the personal representative’s duties, help prepare necessary court filings and accountings, and work to complete the process efficiently so that assets can be distributed to beneficiaries in accordance with the decedent’s wishes.
